Dharamdas, the owner of a mill has two daughters, Asha and Kajal. Asha gets married to Vikas, who is also her love interest. Soon after her wedding, Vikas is killed in a plane crash. Though he had made up his mind to sell the mill, Dharamdas decides to hold on to it as a tribute to his erstwhile son-in-law.
Meanwhile, Seth Dhanraj wants to buy the mill but since Dharamdas doesn’t want to sell it anymore he hatches a plan to acquire the mill. While Dharamdas is on a business trip, he is ambushed by Dhanraj and two of his own employees, and forced to transfer the ownership of the mill to Dhanraj.
Manmohan Saxena , Ashok Gupta (employees of Dharamdas) and Rita become accomplices of Dhanraj in the murder of Dharamdas. They bury his body in a forest. While they are burying him they are shocked to find him still alive. Rita, a superstitious person, is apprehensive, fearing that being buried alive will leave Dharamdas’ spirit restless, and he will come back seeking revenge.
Soon after this the ghost of Dharamdas starts confronting his killers and all of them start to die in mysterious circumstances. Inspector Anand, a friend of Vikas’, starts investigating the case and suspects Ajit Roy, a trusted employee of Dharamdas, of the murders.
The rest of the movie tries to uncover these mysteries: What is Ajit Roy hiding? Is Inspector Anand successful in uncovering the identity of the killers?
