Cinemaazi remembers Bellave Narahari Shashtri on his death anniversary

Starting as a writer in Gubbi Veeranna's theatrical company, Bellave Narahari Shashtri became a key figure of Kannada theatre. He wrote and composed music for the first Kannada film Sati Sulochana (1934). Raja Chandrasekhar's superhit Sadarame (1935) was based on his play. Today is his 50th death anniversary.
