Cinemaazi remembers Mandolin player, music arranger and assistant music director, Kishore Desai on his birthday! He was 14 when he played Mandolin for a song from Badi Bahu (1951). B N Sharma, the sound recordist had to arrange for a high chair with stairs so that he could climb and sit on a higher level to facilitate the sound of mandolin reaching the single microphone used in those days. He was part of countless songs in his career spanning 5 decades.
