Cinemaazi remembers Indurani on her birth anniversary

It was Indurani's sister Roshan (who came to be known as Sarojini) who began their tryst with cinema by writing a letter to Saraswati Movietone. Working in films since she was only 12-13 years of age, she went on to star in a number of fantasy films in the 30s and 40s. She worked with her sister Sarojini in three films. Indurani was born on 21 June, 1922.
