An iconic actor of our times, Shivaji Satam has become a legend for his portrayal of ACP Pradyuman on the TV series C.I.D. Though most well-known for his television role, he has had a long innings in Hindi and Marathi cinema as well, beginning with Pestonjee (1988). It was the veteran theatre actor Bal Dhuri who gave him his first break as an actor. His TV debut came back in 1980 in Rishte Naate. He has acted in other films like English August (1995), Yeshwant (1997), Yugpurush (1998), China Gate (1998), Hu Tu Tu (1999), Sooryavansham (1999) and many more. Starting to act in C.I.D from 1998, his oneliners like 'Daya darwaza tod do' and 'Kuch to gadbad hai' have become the stuff of pop culture legend. Cinemaazi wishes him a happy birthday!
