Cinemaazi wishes Chiranjeevi a very Happy Brithday!

Cinemaazi wishes Telugu actor Chiranjeevi, known as the Megastar, a very Happy Brithday! Chiranjeevi, who turns 65 today, made his debut in 1978 with Punadhirallu and has acted in over 150 films. Born as Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad, rose to fame with his breakdancing skills. 

In a career spanning more than 4 decades, he gave blockbusters like Subalekha (1982), Khaidi (1983), Goonda (1984), Challenge (1984), Vijetha (1985), Rowdy Alludu (1991), Yamudiki Mogudu(1988), and Indra (2002). 

He won the National Award for Best Actor for films Swayam Krushi (1987), Aapathbandhavudu (1992) and Indra (2002). He won four Nandi Awards, several Filmfare awards and was also honoured with Padma Bhushan for his contribution to Indian Cinema. After his 2007 hit Shankar Dada Zindabad, Chiranjeevi took a break from films. In 2017, he made a comeback with Khaidi 150, which marked his son and actor Ram Charan's debut as a producer.

He also served as the Minister of State with independent charge for the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India from 2012 to 2014. In 1988, he co-produced Rudraveena which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration.
