Cinemaazi remembers Nimmi on her death anniversary

When Mehboob Khan invited his family friend, Nimmi, to watch the shooting of Raj Kapoor’s Andaz (1949), Kapoor instantly offered Nimmi a role in his upcoming project Barsaat (1949). Taking the pseudonym Nimmi for the screen, she was a highly successful actor of her time appearing alongside Raj Kapoor, Prem Nath, Shekhar, Dev Anand, and Dilip Kumar.
