In the crime infested city of Bombay lived four small time thieves -Vijay, Johnny, Munna & Cheche - they were the look alikes of Amitabh Bachchan, Dev Anand, Anil Kapoor & Govinda - Aided with this unique quality they dupe a Film Producer of Rs. 25 lakhs - Happiness short lived - they are caught - but being look alike, an Officer on duty misunderstands them for the real stars and releases them - now the four are on the run.
Jaywati like other people of Ramgarh is a dreamer -she writes to all the popular Film Stars to come and rescue Ramgarh from the clutches of dacoits - incidently Vijay, Johnny, Munna & Cheche reach Ramgarh. They are received by the people as their saviours.
Life for Cheche, Johnny, Vijay & Munna becomes a bed of roses until - Gabbar Singh the notorious dacoit returns after serving his term in jail - faced with the Himalayan task of rescuing Ramgarh from the evil hands of Gabbar Singh seems impossible.
Will Vijay, Johnny, Munna & Cheche run away shattering the faith of the people in the Ramgarh or they will prove themselves as "RAMGARH KE SHOLAY".
