Cinemaazi remembers Arzoo Lakhnavi on his death anniversary

One of the first Urdu poets to discard Persianised Urdu for a simpler, more accessible language, Arzoo Lakhnavi also made his mark in cinema, beginning with Manzil (1936). Mukti (1937) proved to a breakthrough film for him. Today is his death anniversary.
