Cinemaazi remembers S D Narang on his birth anniversary

After a hit debut in Khazanchi (1941) S D Narang went onto shift from acting to filmmaking pretty soon, becoming a successful producer-director by the late 40s. Partition deeply affected his fortunes and he later worked in Calcutta and Mumbai in films like Ek Ladki (1948), Lottery (1949), Yahudi Ki Ladki (1957) and Dilli Ka Thug (1958). He was born on 18 June, 1918.
