Cinemaazi remembers Kulwant Jani on his death anniversary

Lyricist and writer Kulwant Jani is known for films such as Do Qaidi (1989), Imaandaar (1987), Suryavanshi (1992), and Sadda Muqaddar (1998). He penned the lyrics for the songs of more than 30 films, including Hamrahi (1974), Paapi (1977), Pyaara Dushman (1980), Sardaar (1984), Mohabbat Ki Kasam (1986), Ek Hi Raasta (1993), and Ghar Bazar (1998). He also wrote the dialogues for films including Adhikar (1986), Suryavanshi, and Sadda Muqaddar, as well as the screenplay for Kal Ki Awaz and the story for Imaandaar. He also penned the screenplay and dialogue for Dharti Aakash (1983) and the dialogue for Teri Meri Kahani (1982) – both TV films.
