Cinemaazi remembers Kedarnath Saigal on his death anniversary

There are artists you might have seen a lot on screen, than know and recognize, an artist who mostly plays blink and miss. That was veteran character actor Kedarnath Saigal. An artist with more than five hundred films to his credit, Saigal Sahab as he was fondly known, made his acting debut with Sikandar-e-Azam(1965) starring Prithviraj Kapoor, Mumtaz and Dara Singh. He has worked alongside many notable stars in his career, like Amitabh Bachchan in cult films like Sholay (1975), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977) and Deewar (1975). He became a popular character actor, mostly seen playing a police officer or a doctor. His most popular films include Khilona (1970), Hum Hain Bemisaal (1994), Chakrayvuha (1978), Professor Pyarelal (1981) among many others. He died on this day in 2013. Cinemaazi celebrates his work on his death anniversary.
