History is witness to the war going on between the good and the evil in every age. "Ganga Aur Ranga" is the story of the present day war between the good & the evil. Let human being believe in any religion but he always believes in good spirit and evil is always bad. The story of Ganga Aur Ranga is based on good & evil. Ganpat (Mehta) stays in a small village. He always helps in the poor workers and farmers and instills the flame of unity among them. All the villagers respect Ganpat. But his brother Narpat (Suresh Chatwal) did not like all this as he was in on the path of the evil. One day Narpat with the help of Inspector (Jatin Khan) and dacoit Noor Khan (Mohd. Sherkhan) kills the good man i.e. Ganpat who had kept alive the flame of unity-along with his family members. A brother kills his own brother. But God wanted something else. Ganpati's son Ranga (Joginder) escapes. Ganga (Sahil Chaddha) looks after Ranga and gives him good education. The aim of Ranga in his life was to destroy the family of Narpat who was responsible for the killing of his father and other family members. In city Narpat's son Inspector (Anil Kochar) loves the daughter (Sonia Sargam) of the Commissioner. When the Commissioner (Kiran Kumar) comes to know about the cruelty in the village he sends inspector Anil to the village. On the other hand Dacoit Noor Khan's daughter Fatima (Prathi) sacrifices he life in order to bring back his father from the path of evil to that of good. But Satpal charges Ranga for the murder of Fatima and dacoit Noor Khan wants to kill Ranga to take the revenge of his daughter's murder. But when Noor Khan learns the reality he prays for the long life of Ranga. What is the result of the cruelty? Gaga Aur Ranga is the detail story of this cruelty.
