In big city gang war is a part of life, me such gang comprising mukesh Rishi (BULHA) shakti kapoor (CHUTIYA) Mohan Joshi (Potay) harish patel (Ibu Hatela) are against another gangster Ishrat Ali (Lambu Atta) and are constantly at each other's throats, in this rivalry Lambu atta gets killed and Bulhas main man Rami Reddy (Kala Shetty) gets areseted with the help of Mithun Chackraborty (Shankar), After this interence by shankar, enimity erapts between Bulha's gang and Shankar, After which Shankar's life takes a drastic turn, his sister and father are fortured and killed by Bulha's gang, these unforeseen and infortunate incidents forces shanker to became a "Gunda" himself to avenge his sister and father" In his tussle with gangster's one corrupt minister (Deepak Shirke) is killed and in retaliation shanker's Lover Ganga gets killed by bulha, Inspite of all this set back's Shanker avenges the wrong done to himself and his family by eliminating all the Anti elements who were instrumental in running his life.

How Goondaism rains the basic labric of society and human life and how honest man is forced to light these same untielement in their own game and in their own backyard is the story of 'GUNDA".
