Priti falls in love with Anil, a rich boy who is Kapil's college friend. Anil's father Triveni is a businessman who while trying to bribe honest Ram Mohan was insulted by him and is furious when he comes to know that Anil wants to marry Ram Mohan's daughter. Ram Mohan and his family through their sheer goodness win over Kriparam who starts treating them well. One day Kriparam suffers a heart attack and in the absence of Ajay his daughter in law refuses to bear the expenses of the operation, it is Ram Mohan who feels his duty to stand by him when death is knocking at Kriparam's door. The honest Ram Mohan pressed by circumstances commits his first his honest act and the advantage of his knowledge is taken by Trivedi to get Ram Mohan arrested and to lower his reputation in the eyes of his son Anil so that he won't marry Priti. But Anil is defined and confronts his rather when he comes to know the reality. Kriparam is shocked to know of Ram Mohan's arrest and the reason behind it decides to fight Ram Mohan's case himself instead of his frail health when other lawyers have refused.
