The story of Arjun Deva is a dacoit's battle against Tyranny of Land Lord. After massive shootout between dacoits and the policemen, Arjun (Mithun Chakraborty) rescues his Sardar (Gang Leader) Suraj Bhan Singh from the police custody. After his rescue Suraj Bhan Singh is very much obliged to Arjun and regards him as his own son. Finally he declares Arjun as the Sardar of his gang and thus Arjun becomes a "Bandit King".

Jagawar Chowdhary (Shakti Kapoor) and his four brothers are the Land Lords who rule Chandanpur village. In order to settle his old account with Jagawar Chowdhary and his brothers, Arjun declares a war against them. Two brothers of Jagawar Chowdhary are killed one by one by Arjun. And with these killings Chandanpur village becomes a Battle Field.

Jagawar Chowdhary is shaken by the killings of his brothers. He becomes wild, and to take revenge of Arjun he calls Devaa (Puru Rajkumar) a dreaded contract killer from the city and hires him to knock off Arjun. Does Devaa succeed in killing Arjun? How Devaa reacts when Phoolmati (Arjun's Girlfriend) meets him and tells him the past of Arjun? How Arjun reacts when he gets to know that a contract killer has been hired by Jagawar Chowdhary to knock him off? What happens when Arjun and Devaa come across each other?
