Professor Ajay Saxena (Jitendra) teaches in Mahendra Khanna College of Arts and Science. He too like any other common man had learnt not to interfere in other people's affairs. He was merely a spectator. But, unlike the common man Professor Saxena had a streak of honesty in him. He would not follow the non-interfering attitude within the college premise because he felt it was his duty as a professor. In the course of fulfilling his responsibilities he had called his student Jagdish (MunitBawa) a blemish, Jaggi, as his friends called him, was not just another student. He was the nephew of Ramniklal Shah (AjitVachchani) and Mahesh Shah (Mahavir) two most dreaded people in the underworld. They together controlled ninety percent of the drug market under DayaPatil's (Mohan Joshi) protection. DayaPatil, he rules the city. His word is law. His punishment is death. His weapon is fear. So, when Ajay Saxena had called Jagdish a blemish. He had actually put his hand in the hornet's nest. Ajay Saxena stays as a paying guest in Mrs. Disa's (RohiniHattangadi) house. A widow whose only support is her son, Johny (Saif Jung). Professor Saxena is grooming Johny to be the best student and he has a lot of hopes from Johny. Jaggi gets even with the Professor by making Johny a drug addict. Johny finally loses his life because ofdrugs. Inspector Rahul Singh (Rahul Roy) was Professor Saxena's ideal student, who was groomed by Professor himself. Rahul had joined the police force. He had his own dreams and wishes. But they remained dead under the conventional methods and Red tapism. Rahul had tremendous confidence in the law and it's effect. But, Ajay Sexena had gradually lost it after Johny's death. Professor also had friends like SatyajeetAnand (Suresh Oberoi), Editor of New Delhi Times, his wife Priya (DeepaSahi) and sister Kaita (MamtaKulkarni). Anand is fighting his own war against the negative elements in the Society and in the process of exposing dreadful criminal hiding in sheep skin. But before Anand can expose them. He is killed.

Now Professor Saxena realises he can no longer be a spectator and has to put a stop to all the crime and injustice in the Society. -- What happens then?
