Gangadhar (Kader Khan) retired from his job is old and blind. He is unhappy about the cruelty happening on his eldest son Adarsh (Ajit Vachhani) and daughter-in-law Seeta (Reema Lagoo) by his own wife Durga (Bindu) daughter Mohini (Sushmita Mukherjee) and second son Badaal's (Anant Mahadevan) wife Shobha (Kunika). To get his daughter Mohini married, he had to cancel the treatment and operation of his eyes and the same daughter now does not respect him but at the same time insults and neglects him

The eldest son Adarsh knew about the physical and mental torture his wife was going through from his mother and sister and sister-in-law, but never uttered a word only for the sake of his blind father.

Badal the second son was his mother's favourite but a henpecked husband.

When the injustice and torture, reached its peak "Chhoti Bahoo" Radha (Shilpa Shirodkar) who is married to the youngest son Ravi (Deepak Tijori) comes to this house as the saviour of Seeta.

Durga, Mohini and Shobha insults Radha by calling her poor, orphan and uncivilized.
