Vikram Sehgal (Alok Nath) is a renowned businessman. His wife Sudha (Madhu Kambikar) is bedridden for years due to her invalidity. Vikram has a son Vishaal (Nana Patekar) who works after his father's factory. He has one more son Raju (Rishi Kapoor) who was born of the mistress of Vikram Sehgal many years back. Raju runs a small garage in Delhi and loves Priya (Pooja Bhatt) who is daughter of a multimillionaire Surendranth Gupta (Mahavir Shah). Surendranath makes Raju aware of his status as an orphan and a bastard. Just then Raju's Kaka (Satyen Kappu) blurts out Raju's father's name. Raju is surprised to know that his father is still alive. He goes to his father asking for his name. Vikram refuses to accept him as the obstacle which was slopping him from doing so many years back, is still very much there i.e. Vishaal's mother yet he goes to Sudha and pleads her. This time she relents. This conversation is overheard by Vishaal's mama Shrichand (Mohan Joshi) who with help of his friend Arjun Choudhary (Prashant Subedaar) plots the assassination of Vikram Sehgal. But Shrichand's problems are not solved even after Vikram's death. Vikram's advocate friend (Anant Mahadevan) tells them that during his last days Vikaram had made a will according to which his property is to be divided equally among Raju and Vishaal to fetch Raju to Bombay but Raju adamantly refuses.

Priya and Raju elope from Priya's fathers' clutches. They reach temple where Priya suggests they should get married. Raju refuses.. Just then Samir Choudhary (Mohnish Behl) comes with his goons and thrash Raju. Just then Arjun and Surendra Gupta come with the police. Police arrests Raju while Gupta asks Arjun to take care of Priya. Arjun plans the wedding between Samir and Priya.

On the other hand, a killer is following Raju and Vishaal on their way to Bombay.
