Vinod was a bad man-so bad that he stole away the jewellery of his wife on the wedding night. Bindu thus deserted by her husband had to struggle hard till she learnt whereabouts of her husband. Vinod was going to be released from Central Jail. A day prior to his release Bindu the simple village maid reached the city and fell into the hands of some ruffians connected with the gang of Vinod's boss, Ranjit. Before they could rape her, her brother Kishore who had quarreled with father and left home years back and Mehmood the orphan boy saved her from the clutches of the goondas. Bindu recognises her brother and narrated the story of her woes. Kishore and Mehmood decided to deliver her to her provided that she acted on their advice.

Bindu agreed and in a few days she was transformed into an absolutely modern girl. Vinod fell in love with her at first sight and shoed intentions to marry her. At the nick of time Ranjit revealed to him that Bindu was the same girl whom he married earlier. Vinod was moved over the devotion of Bindu. He even clashed with his Boss for her sake. Boss planned the murder of Kishore and Vinod was involved in it. He was sentenced for 7 years. While being transported to the central jail he escaped from Police and started his revenge on his Boss. Ranjit was exposed. In this episode Vinod met his lost brother who was a police Inspector. Ultimately Vinod and Bindu united forever.
