Vikram, a Police Officer, is happily married to Madhu. They have a beautiful 8-year-old son Chunky, who they both love intensely. One day an enchantingly lovely storm called Nisha blows into this peaceful and contended nest and shakes it violently. Someone has to fall.

General Ranjit Singh's family is liquidated by revengeful gangsters. Nisha is only daughter survives. The gang leader swears to kill Nisha as well. Vikram is put on duty to guard her constantly. In a moment of danger, the terror-stricken Nisha seeks refuge in Vikram's powerful arms. This one moment of weakness is going to transform her life completely. An unwillingly cause untold suffering to all three.

Madhu leaves Vikram. Nisha is unable to forget the first man in her life and Vikram is unable to accept separation from his wife. A moment's indiscretion has become a storm which mercilessly buffets all three around, none of them is to blame. Who will untangle the mess? Who will win who will lose?
