Sagar is a poor bird-seller whose mother had left him in childhood. When he became young, he took to wine and being the lover of two beautiful women, one of which Neeta belonged to a rich family, madly in love with him, wants to marry Sagar against the wish of her father Mr. Vishwanath, who happens to be a Political Leader. The other woman, Vidya is the daughter of a poor station master. She too dreams of marrying Sagar.
