Young singer Neha (Divya Bharti) is one of those twinkling star of the music world who has got a long trail of fans. One of those millions is a young student Raja (Avinash Wadhawan) and each and every aspect of Rajs's life is involved with Neha's music. Neha's father fall ill all of a sudden and he passes away. Then Neha discovers that all their belongings have been mortgaged. Neha's promoter Harry (Shakti Kapoor) tries to take advantage of the situation and was insulted by Neha in the bargain. He becomes vindictive and pJans to take revenge. He succeeds in his plan and Neha loses her rhythm. All kinds of problems surround Neha suddenly. All her belongings were auctioned and Neha could only take shelter in her father's house back in native place. Incidentally Raja is also in the same village after his exams. They meet each other. Raja is not aware of the fact that Neha has lost her rhythm. Raja repeatedly praises her voice and insists that she should sing. Neha was quite irritated by now by his perpetual request, locks him up ina pup housewhere he ultimately survives for his life and subsequently her spite transforms into adoration Raja discovers at his friend Panday's (Laxmikant Berde) Gouna that Neha has lost her rhythm. Then Raja is determined to regain Neha's lost rhythm and to place her back on the same heights at any cost. Harry then declares that he would not let Raja succeed but Raja quite inspired by his determination faces all ups and downs and ultimately achieves his target, Neha again becomes the queen of music and Harry is punished for the ghastly act, Raja manages his dream come true.
