This story is of a lane in a small town. Deepak and Meeta two young people in love who stayed on opposite sided in this lane. Meetings of these two lovers in broad day light could not go un-notice in the small town and this is the reason why Deepak and Meeta met every night on Meeta's roof-top. When the entire town slept these lovers would stay awake and keep the torch of love burning. One such night the torch of love burnt with tremendous brightness and the love of these love birds was translated from words to feelings, feelings to passion when they ultimately achieved the pinnacle of love. But the town which was deep in slumber suddenly woke up and here started the tragic tale of these innocent lovers. People of this lane were divided around two families. One side accused Deepak of raping Meeta while the other was out to prove that Meeta was no less than a whore. Two innocent hearts were torn amidst the vanities of their families, the rusted social values of our society?
