Life - Who moulds it? Destiny - who Shapes it? Some Powers Unseen, the man himself or the scheme of things around him?

"Jaggu" does not claim to answer this question. His story is yet another story that provokes the eternal question.

An ordinary clerk, Jaggu is a gentleman, honest and hardworking. His low salary cannot meet the day to day expenses. The prolonged illness of his widowed mother forces him to sell the wedding present of his deceased father to his mother. But pickpockets snatch his purse. He manhandles them, is arrested and put in jail.

Time flits by Jaggu; is released. Outside the jail he finds his world quite changed. His mother has passed away. People shun him for he carries a stigma. The callousness of his friends, petty mindedness of people around conspire to change him. He takes the easy road to freedom from want. He cheats, swindles and gambles. There is no body to cry a halt. He has no parents, no one else - except the little NANNO. But her voice is too frail to ressurect him. Time wares on its ugly pattern.

But the good in a man never dies, it only slumbers. Mala enters his life with all her innocence and beauty. She is a helpless village girl, who has strayed into the city. Like a brother he gives her shelter; like a father, he gives her in marriage to the man of her heart. But the other bad characters conspire to ruin them. Jaggu accepts their challenge and sacrifices himself to checkmate their evil designs. How.......? The silver screen will reveal to you !
