Who was Mayura, who defeated the famous wrestler Jaggi Singh of Singhgarh, who in a short time learnt the martial arts from Sher Singh, who defeated in a sword duel the invincible Veer Kumar, Prince of Singhgarh the best swordsman in the land. The sword duel had captivated the heart of the princess and it was love at first sight for the princess Premavati and Mayura.
The Bhairav Emperor was very perturbed upon learning about the defeat of his son and declares Mayura a traitor. Mayura is ordered to leave Singhgarh by Sher Singh and flees into the jungles.
Mayura, while wandering in the jungle meets the Rajguru, Minister and Commander of the former Kingdom of Vijayanthi. The three of them are living in disguise. Mayura is then told about his heritage and the secret that he is really the son of King Mahipal and Queen Puspavati is revealed to him. Ile is told of how his mother and father were murdered by Shiv Kumar, the Bhairav Emperor. Mayura takes an oath and promises to avenge the deaths of his parents . But to do that Mayura has to face the huge army and power of the Bhairav Kingdom. He had also lost his heart to Princess Premavati.
