Whenever a person finds favourable situation turning unfavourable due to speaking truth, seeks the help of untruth. Untruth makes worse things easier, and the person is stuck up the trouble-ring. Then the told untruth is proved the truth of his life.

The same incident happens with a young guy Ravi (Govinda) who has come to Bombay saying good-bye to his native place, having a dream to become a famous singer and dancer.

In a city like Bomaby, where it is very difficult to get a job and a house on rent easily, Ravi meets a person, Sanipat (Kadar Khan) a mischievious character but fair by heart, who helps him to get the job and an accommodation. Ravi shares untruth spoken to the land lady that he is married and will call his wife on a good.

One day the same girl, Urvashi (Mandakini) whose photograph, he had shown as his wife to the land lady, gives surprise to Ravi coming to his house.

In course of time, Ravi is totally stuck up in the told untruth.

Does the untruth that Ravi is married with Urvashi, becomes true?
