“BEMISAL” is a story of nobility which is inherent in human beings. Prashant and Sudhir are classmates in school. Prashant is the son of a magistrate while Sudhir is the son of an impoverished school teacher. Sudhir’s father’s sudden death, forces Sudhir into a life of petty crime. He is arrested by the police and in the court finds himself face to face with Prashant’s father. The magistrate adopts Sudhir and brings him up like his own son Prashant. Both of them become doctors. Prashant becomes a gynaecologist and Sudhir becomes a child specialist.

Years later on a holiday in Kashmir, Prashant and Sudhir meet the beautiful Kavita and both of them fall in love with her. Sudhir, however, realizes how much his friend loves Kavita and gracefully pressurizes Kavita into marrying Prashant.

The three are inseparable. Thereafter, Prashant goes abroad to study leaving Kavita in the care of his best friend. Prashant’s father dies and Prashant returns from abroad a changed man overly influenced by materialism. He now believes in money only money.

Prashant sets up a posh nursing home and there performes every kind of operation so long as the fee is right.

Ultimately Prashant gets arrested for performing an illegal abortion in which the patient dies. Faced with this sudden crisis in the family, Sudhir reveals his true colour. His actions defy imagination. Who is this man? Is he the devil incarnate, or………………?
