Laila, brought up in a brothel, is a cabret dancer in Digvijay Singh's five star hotel. At the marriage of Digvijay Singh's daughter, Laila is asked to perform. Karan, Singh's only son, falls in love with Laila. At the same function, she gets a phone call from her dying mother that she is not her real mother. Laila is now aided by Karan in her search for her mother. Their search leads them to Razia, who divulges that eighteen years ago, there were three naughty students in her college- Barkha, Salma and Raj. Mischievous and fun-loving, they fell in love with boyfriends and one of them became pregnant. Laila was the child delivered. The trio looked after the child as if each were her mother and so, nobody knew who was the real mother. After some time, Laila was handed over to Razia.

Now, Barkha is Minister of Health and Welfare, Raj is married to her boyfriend, a price and famous horse-breeder and Salma is the Principal of the same college where all of them were students. When Laila finally manages to bring them together, none has courage to accept Laila, a girl of disrepute.

So, what does the cruel fate hold in store for Laila? Does she find acceptance at the hands of her real mother? Who is her father?
