Baghi is a Colour action packed drama with the background of Iran. The Prime Minister is returning from a conquest. When he enters the city gates his chariot runs over a five year old child. When his son is born it is abducted by the father of the child who was runover previously by the Prime Minister in death. This Prime Minister's son is brought up as rebel against his own father who is a tyrant degenerated creation of a monster whereas the kind has a daughter who falls in love with the rebel (BAGHI). In the end Prime MInister is punished for his own crime while his son is married to his own beloved (Princess) and democracy is restored in the state.

ये मुल्के ईरान के एक ऐसे बागी की कहानी है, जो यमन के वज़ीर के घर पैदा हुआ और वादिए गुलकी आज़ाद फिज़ा में बड़ा हुआ

एक दिन यमन के वज़ीर का रथ शहर के बाज़ार से गुज़र रहा था तो उसके रथ से एक पांच साल कुचल गया. मगर वज़ीर की पेशानी पर शिकन तक ना पड़, मरहूम बच्चे का बाप इस जुल्म के सहा ना सका, उसी रात वज़ीर का पांच साल का बच्चा जिसकी मंगनी शहजादिये मुल्क के साथ होने वाली थी और जो कुछ दिन बाद सल्तनत का मालिक बनने वाला था. अचानक वज़ीर के महल से गायब हो गया, लेकिन वज़ीर सल्तनत का लालच ना छोड़ ना सका उसने एक दूसरे लड़के को खुद का लड़का मशहूर कर दिया.

इधर वज़ीर का असली लड़का बागियों से आबाद वादिये गुल में परवरिश पा पहा था और नकली अपने नाना के यहां वक्त गुज़रता गया दोनों लड़के जवान हुए और जवानी के साथ साथ शहज़ादी भी जवान हो गई. जवानी ने पर खोले, मोहब्बत ने अपना जलवा दिखाया और एक दिन बागियों के यहां परवरिश पाने वाला लड़का ही शहज़ादी की मोहब्बत का हकदार हो गया. असली और नकली कई बार टकराए, वजीर ने नकली की ही मदद की और असली पर जुल्म ढ़ाये मगर आखिरकार मालिक को जो मंजूर था वही हुआ.

वज़ीर को अपने किए की सजा मिली और बागी के नाम से मशहुर होने वाला वज़ीरजादाही शहज़ादी के साथ शादी करके सल्तनत का मालिक बना.

बागी की ज़िंदगी जन्नत बन गई और मुल्क में अमन की लहर फैल गई ज़ालिम बाप की जालिमाना हरकतें उसके बेटे के हाथों कब्र में दफना दी गई यही है बागी की कहानी का सार जिसे रंगीन सीन सीनरियों में एक शानदार अंदाज में पेश किया है.
