A border area Ajeetnagar. Full of forests. No forest officer has ever retired from there. Either he is killed or transferred. Seth Prabhudayal is well known and respectable man of the area. Raghubir the manager of Seth Prabhudayal who is incharge of the jungles is killed in mysterious circumstances. Prabhudayal takes the responsibility of bringing up the child of Raghubir & takes care of his widow as Raghubir was his trusted manager. Karan, the son of Raghubir grows up with the aid of Seth Prabhudayal & today he is a forest officer. Karan is transferred to Ajeetnagar's deadly forests. His childhood friends Lata & Anil are also there. Anil loves Lata from the core of his heart. But on the other hand Lata falls in love with Karan.

All kinds of smuggling activities take place in the jungles. Arms & ammunitions are smuggled in & Charas, Ganja etc. smuggled out. Though the jungles belong to the Government, but the rulers of the deadly forests are smugglers. Who are these smugglers? Who murders all the forest officers? Who are these anti-social elements destroying the peace of the country? What happens to Karan, the........forest officer? Is he able to do the job he is assigned for & what happens when the two friends ....... that they love the same girl? Who is sacrificed at the altar of the other and above all, who is Karan..... answers to these questions are your own "Circumstances" sorry "Halaat"...........
