SWARAG SE SUNDER is the story of a house in which Vijay Choudhury, who is the village Sarpanch with wife Laxmi and brother Ravi lived. The bonds of Love between them were very strong. In this village, Milawat Ram with wife Chanderlekha and daughter Lalita also lived. He was a grocer who was notorious for selling adulterated groceries. He has a brother-in-law Pannalal who was always scheming and planning to take revenge with Vijay and Ravi.,
Laxmi is unable to bear a child even after five years of her marriage, as a result, Chaderlekha taunts, insults her, and calls her an infertile woman. On the other side, Ravi and Lalita love each other and this love matures into marriage, to the delite of Milawat Ram, Chanderlekha, and Pannalal who start their attempts to break this house and separate the two brothers. But Lalita, foils their attempts and proves to be a lotus flower nurtured in the mud.
Laxmi and Lalita conceive at the same time. But at the time of delivery—Lalita gives birth to a still born child and Lalita’s life is in a precarious condition. To save her life, Vijay and Laxmi give away their child. Laxmi takes on the stamp of an infertile woman even after giving birth to a child.
One day, this child falls sick and Lalita takes the child home to her parents house and Ravi goes along with ther. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Milavat Ram attempts a partition of the house.
