“ANOKHA BANDHAN” is the story based on the famous novel of Bengal’s great writer Sharat Chandra’s “Ramer Sumati”. ANOKHA BANDHAN- is the story of the “THE ATTACHMENT” between sister-in-law & brother-in-law. ANOKHA BANDHAN tells you the tale of love & dedication of Brother-in-law to his sister-in-law.

Ram & Shyamlal are the two step brothers. Ram’s mother expires giving the band of her son Ram in the hands of Annapurna, a wife of her step son Shyamlal. Annapurna promises Ram’s mother that she will take the utmost care to look, after Ram.

On day of Holi, Annapurna’s mother comes to Annapurna’s residence on the death of her father and puts the fire in the small family of Annapurna. She could not witness Annapurna’s showing the love & affection towards Ram. So she decides to remove Ram from Annapurna’s house. Wavering minded Shyamlal removes his brother Ram from his house & he divides his property.

After the separation Annapurna & Ram were eager to see each other but the constructed wall between the two houses & oath of Shyamlal does not allow them to meet each other.

On the account of motherly affection towards Ram, Annapurna fell sick & became serious. Doctors gave up the hopes & left everything on God. On hearing of illness of his sister-in-law Annapurna, Ram went to the temple and prayed God to save the soul of his sister-in-law taking his soul & to save Annapurna. Djd God hear his prayers? Did Ram & Annapurna met again?
