Parents who neglect the responsibility of giving them affection and care, are morally guilty as they not only ruin their life but indirectly ruin the Nation.

"ISSI KA NAAM DUNIA HAI" tells you about such neglected children.

MOTI RAM, a mill worker, marries for the second time. Naturally in his absorption with his new wife he neglects the poor children ASHA & RAMESH, from his first wife. The children run away from their home to Bombay as they feel lost and have nobody to turn to.

MOTI RAM cannot forgive himself for his sad neglect and cannot find peace unless he gets back his children. He is not even able to attend to his work peacefully an as a result meets with an accident in the mill and looses his right hand. With the help of gratuity funds and the Insurance policy he comes to Bombay with his wife where in course of time he comes into huge property of his wife's uncle and becomes a jeweller and a landlord.

RAMESH also comes to Bombay with his sister with a great hope to earn money to educate her and look after her. Soon he finds that it is very difficult to earn money honestly and becomes a gambler against his wish. He becomes an expert in his profession with the help of Mr. VARMA an owner of RED CLUB. He escapes from the hands of Inspector SHYAM many a times and when he finds that his own sister is in love with SHYAM he decides to change his criminal way of life forever. Mr. VARMA does not like to loose him and tries to find a way to trap him.

RAMESH has to go back to VARMA for money for his sisters marriage and new flat. VARMA also gives him money with a desire to obtain his consent to marry his sister ASHA, but when he finds that ASHA is to be married to inspector SHYAM he gets wild and asks for refund of his loan and threatens to black-mail RAMESH. Ramesh gets disparate and finds no other way but to break the safe of MOTI RAM. But while escaping he is unfortunately wounded by a bullet and subsequently caught by the police. ASHA rushes to MOTI RAM for help of her brother but is driven away by Moti Ram's wife. Incidently Moti Ram finds that Ramesh and Asha are his own lost children and promises Asha to help her brother... Can he really help her?.. Does Asha gets married to Shyam?... What happens to Varma? ... What happens to Ramesh? ... See on the Silver Screen.
