“KHANDAN” is as valuable as a pearl necklace- separation of even one member can ruin the beauty of the Khandan.

Jeevanda’s khandan was also one such beautiful family, part of which was – Shankar younger brother, Shankar’s wife Parvati and their disabled son Govind. Landlord Jeevandas’s wife Bhagvanti and Govind’s younger brother Shyam were also part of the family but wasn’t exactly united in heart with them.

An orphan girl Radha enters this family as a maid and time goes by she becomes an integral part of the family, despite being an outsider.

As a child, Govind got electric shock which resulted in his disability. But God’s gifted him with a melodious voice and a heart full of love. Radha fell in Govind’s beautiful heart. Ignoring his disability. She preferred humanity over the individual.

Govind was Jeevandas’s apple of the eye. But Bhagvanti didn’t like this relation between the two because she preferred Shyam, who studies in city college.

Life was going smooth until one day BHagvanti’s deceased brother’s two children – Neelima and Navrangi arrived in their life.

Navrangi Lal who has lost his fortune in Singapore enters the family and has always wished for destroying the harmony of the family. Bhagvanti helps Navrangi Lal in this plan. On the other hand, Shyam was taken by Neelima’s flamboyant personality. The happy family started to fall apart.  The reputation of the family went down as  they became a target of the villager’s gossip.

But the film tries to show that the victory of the truth over false, good over bad.
