Anoop is a fighter - He is educated, poor, honest and straightforward. He does not believe in beating around......... but dares to call a spade a spade. He loves his poor majority and knows nobody is born poor as an act of GOD, but as the ruthless act of exploiters - the rich. ...........on with his speeches, his writing and his deeds. One day when his sister Rekha........... to go to her rich friend's house to attend a party with a small cheap presentation, he is sarcastic. He tells her that where price is the criteria for all the valuations, .........present will not be appreciated. Anoop's prediction comes true as Rekha is.......... house as a thief! Rekha's friend Seema comes to Rekha's home to ask forgiveness from Anoop, who refuses to forgive such an insult. Seema returns hurt. By co-incidence Anoop gets a job at Seema's brother Rajan's office as a publicity officer.

Rajan, the aristocratic capitalist, wants mainly to exploit Anoop's intellect as his hunger for name and fame was uppermost in his mind. Anoop is shocked when he finds this.... the house where Rekha was insulted. He leaves the job. Rajan brings him back asking forgiveness from the family and promises to publish Anoop's novel 'Naya Zamana', written with his own blood as mirror of people and their dreams. Seema reads the manuscript and moved by the theme and the honesty of its purpose she starts adoring Anoop. But when Rajan published Anoop's novel in his name, the bomb burst. What happened when the exploiter and the exploited faced each other openly? Can the forces of evil succeed to crush the forces of goodness and honesty of the people? See the exciting drama of down to earth reality of life.

The story of Anoop is the story of a man who fights today for a better tomorrow, for a better life, for a better age. That new age is 'NAYA ZAMANA' and it is a coming soon at your favourite theatre.
